Connect a wallet

Bedrock runs on Elysium, an Arbitrum Orbit chain on top of HyperEVM where HYPE is the gas token. Any EVM wallet works.

Steps

• Click Connect wallet and pick MetaMask, Rabby, OKX or another injected wallet. WalletConnect is listed when the site has a project id configured.
• Approve the Add network prompt. Bedrock adds Elysium (chain id 99901) with its own RPC URL, which is also the relay that carries your transactions onto the chain.
• Get HYPE onto Elysium with the Elysium bridge. You need HYPE on Elysium for every buy, sell and launch.

Why the RPC is Bedrock's

Elysium's sequencer does not accept transactions from the public yet. Signed transactions reach the chain through its inbox on HyperEVM. Bedrock's RPC endpoint answers reads from Elysium nodes and posts your signed transaction into that inbox for you, so your wallet sees a normal chain. Read more under Relay & RPC.
