Launch protection

Block 0 is bedrock. Nobody mines it. Every Bedrock coin is protected by the hook on its Uniswap v4 pool: the launch block takes one buy — the creator's, capped and disclosed — and rejects everything else.

Launch phases

  1. 1Created
    Block N
    Token, v4 pool and hook are created in one transaction, with the whole supply locked in as liquidity.
  2. 2Protected
    Block N · then 60s
    Only the creator's capped first buy can land in block N. From N+1 everyone can trade, but no wallet may hold more than 1% until the window ends.
  3. 3Trading
    After 60s
    Open to everyone, on plain Uniswap v4 terms with the coin's buy and sell tax. Forever.

Developer buy disclosure

The creator may buy once, inside the launch transaction, up to 5% of supply. That buy is:

  • Labelled dev buy in every swap list and holder table
  • Shown on the token page with amount, % of supply and whether any was sold
  • Shown on the creator's profile across all their launches
  • Rejected by the launcher if it goes over the cap, and frozen in the creator's wallet for the launch block
